Those awesome people at Harlequin have recently launched its very own digital-first imprint which will allow aspiring writers to submit their manuscript in the comfort of their own home, online!
"For many, the traditional publishing model can be daunting and difficult to navigate. By creating a website where authors can openly and easily submit their work online, we believe we are opening up the publishing opportunity to many more potential new authors."
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS, GUYS? You know how people always say there must be something in the water in down-under... Well, it's time to prove everybody right! This new initiative by Harlequin will give the opportunity for brand-new Aussie authors to be discovered and loved.
(And honestly, I am loving this idea, Aussie YA authors are amazing)
So, if an easy way to submit your manuscript isn't enough, how about this...

I adore the fact that ALL romance genres is being embraced, especially LBGT. How cool would it be to see more gay characters in YA?

Ohh! This is so awesome! Harlequin are so great. I don't plan on being a writer myself but this would be great for people who do want to be!! Great post Taneika :D
