Follow Friday (6)

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read!
This week's question is
"What is the longest book you've read? What are your favourite 600+ page reads?"
Well, the longest book I've ever read is probably Under the Dome by Stephen King, at 1,072 pages....
My FAVOURITE 600+ page reads are obviously the last four Harry Potter books (636, 766, 607, 607 pages respectively) and The Passage by Justin Cronin (766 pages)
I have a uh, slight feeling that EVERYBODY is going to put Harry Potter as their favourite long reads :) Because well, they are amazing! YAY FOR REREADING HARRY POTTER AT THE MOMENT! I'm reading Order of the Phoenix, and god I hate Umbridge.

How teeny does Deathly Hallows look compared to Half Blood Prince? The pages are so much thinner than all the other books!!

I did enjoy Under the Dome and I'm yet to read Stephen King's The Stand and It (which are also 1000+ and I own The Stand!!)

  1. That's so true! The Deathly Hallows doesn't even look like it's over 600 pages there! Thinking back....WOW. I can't believe they were so long! So worth it though. <3 Damn I need to reread that series.

  4. I never read the last HP book but I'm at the point now where I'd need to go back and reread the whole series to really appreciate it. And gosh, yes, I thought the last book was the third one at first glance due to how thin it is!!

  5. OK, SERIOUSLY. HOW did they get Deathly Hallows so skinny? I don't understand. It makes ZERO sense.

And I keep on seeing 'The Passage' in this week's answers... err.. seriously? I'd never heard of it before :D

AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! TANEIKA! YOUR RE-READING HARRY POTTER2
    *hugs*
    *happy dance*

OK, I LOATHE Umbridge. She is my least favorite fictional character of all time, EVER. I would much rather give the world over to an army of Voldemorts than her.. stupid, vile, loathesome pink little TOAD, hiding behind 'rules' and burocracy, and manipulations. I despise her so So SOOOO much >:(

    1. I KNOW RIGHT! It's soo tiny! The pages are super thin and delicate, I always get scared to read it hahaha!

YOU. READ. PASSAGE. NOW. I must reread it again too :)

      AHHHHH I LOVE HARRY POTTER!

YESSS! Umbridge is pretty much as horrible as Voldemort! Oh, I'd love to know her backstory and if there is a reason as to why she's so loathesome!
      AHHHH

  8. It's easy to forget how long the Harry Potter books are. It's easy to do when you read them in one night.

  9. If you consider the fact that the version of The Lord of The Rings I read was the one that’s one book with the 3 parts inside (1202 pages in the brazilian version), that would be the longest book I’ve ever read. But if you consider series to favorite 600+ page reads, hands down, Harry Potter. Not so much for the story, but for the feeling it brings me every time I think about it. Who doesn't hate Umbridge? LOL My favorite in the series is Half-Blood Prince, tho.

    I'm a new follower, btw!
